Ever get the feeling...

Post by ToMo »

.....that you are going to regret asking ?
Here goes: what is a TCT ? I notice that Claymore is one but no-one else I've seen so far.
In for a penny...
why is an Able semen ('')seemingly senior to a Midshipman and is a 'Jolly Jack Tar' reserved for classic boaters.

TCT refers to the Tennent Caledonian Trophy which Claymore was awarded by the CCC at the end of last season.

I had never really considered it before but I guess the thinking behind the Mid/AB relationship is that although a Mid is an officer he is often a newbie whereas an AB always has more experience.

To ToMo for being the first person to ask the question and to Silkie for coming up with the answer.
