Lottie Opening

Post by wully »

Word on the street is that the Lord of the Isles opens again on the 1st May

Also sounds like it’ll be busy with Groovee Craobh-ee berths almost fully booked for the season..

Well - that's an interesting one - I wonder if I'll be allowed up there at that time?
Perhaps I can avail myself of yer hospitality Wullyum?

I had a look at the LOTI website today, and it still shows it closed until further notice. Anyone with more local knowledge know better?

I had to talk to Craobh Marina earlier. Alistair says that the LOTI is still shut, they're working on the place, and hoping to open on 17 May.

We're heading north to Craobh for the summer this weekend. It will be interesting to see what changes , if any , there are at LOTI.

It’s had a total refurb allegedly.

Last time I was over there they were wasting time painting the outside instead of getting the beer delivery equipment operational...

Apparently the LOTI will open in a couple of weeks, after a full refurb, it looks like the place will be much brighter. The previous tenants are not in charge, and the owners are back running it, hopefully a lot better than in the past. The "bus shelter" could be an outside bar from the look of it today. If the weather we are having continues no-one will want to sit inside.

I thought there was always a risk of a water shortage at Croabh :D

Yes, cycled over for a couple of pints, not doing meals yet as the kitchen is still being refurbed.
