Nearly time
Yup, end of next week and we head south. We had a short trip to the Clyde at the beginning of May, and we flew our burgee, but didn't see any others. Ah well, it will continue to be flown. If anyone wants to know more you can find it all here http://www.minnieb.me.uk" onclick="window.open(...

Time and tide
I retired from work yesterday. So that's alright then. SWMBO has stopped work too. We're off to India this afternoon - just for four weeks, that's all. I think retirement will be good. Get boat ready when we get back then head south flying our lovely Bluemoment burgee. Hope we meet some BM forumites.

Re: Burgee arrived
This is a seriously impressive item - far superior to the rag for hanging on a wall from TOP.
Nick - it was worth the wait, the debate and the money. BTW do we owe you more?
So what's the next idea that we can have a debate about?

OK - I can help you with this losing weight thing. Two and a half years ago we brought our boat home from Les Sables d'Olonne (no it's not an Open 60) and I was so overweight that I split the side seams on my lovely Musto mid-layer salopettes. I decided to act. I lost nearly 3 stones over a period o...

New Year's Resolutions
Well, mine will be to just try to be more patient with others and less judgemental - for too long I have been accused of not suffering fools gladly.
Now I'm just going to suffer fools in silence ...
So, what's your NYR?

er ... could someone tell me where Bluemoment operates from? Seems to be on a different time zone to me, as in UTC +1, or were the clocks not changed when BST ended?

Wow! We are a tad on the sensitive side or is it just a bad day? I have been very supportive of Bluemoment and have paid up for the burgee. Of course, I don't have to do anything - open posts, contribute or whatever, but forums are for expressing views - including about processes. So maybe there's j...
