Bought a new battery for Silkie from Costco. Bosch marine/leisure batteries 75Ah for £35 and 110Ah for £56 inc VAT. Seems like a decent price? Will it pay?

I used the new Uno last year and it was fine which is more than can be said for the absurdly expensive Trilux which seems to positively encourage growth on the outboard leg.

Pretty sure I've sung the praises of the Ionian to you a few times. Wall to wall sunshine (with the odd thunderstorm) and fairly predictable breezes, no tides, almost no rocks to hit, nearly as many harbours and anchorages (and more pubs) as the West and much cheapness - what's not to like?
