May I be vaguely decisive and state Friday 8th December to be the date and, despite Nick's plaintive whines frae the west, Edinburgh to be the locus.
That just leaves the choice of hostelry and I am all for tradition and keeping with the Doric in Market St. but, as always, am amenable to other suggestions.
