No, but why are you "just asking"?

Like most forums there are times when it is busier than others, but a high frequency of posts is sometimes just noise, while things that I find relevant and interesting often emerge when the posting-rate is more sedate.

No - i find it a place of peace, sanity and friendship.

I never did believe in "just asking" - so why do you ask?

Do you know they have GPS tracking this year?

It'll be interesting see how many go round the Mull tomorrow or Sun. Rather them than me.

Thanks for that. I had found Clyde Challenger on AIS, but this is much better.

The site is a bit fussy though - doesn't like my IE8, nor my windows phone, nor my android Hudl2.

I hope that some of the runners are carrying the tracker, cos it looks as though some of the boats are on Ben More - it can't be that windy surely.

I can't see a tracker for either Marisca or Contender.

The 45' cat, Obedient, is flying along at 8.6knts.

Ash

Edit - Looks as though 7 of the Class 3 are carrying trackers - they seem to be heading down the Sound of Mull.

Hope so, some of them were doing 5 knots coming down the mountain. Obedient is now heading for the Mull and still Flying. There is a first 40 on their tail doing 8.9 knots. I'm sure it must be pretty wild out there this morn. And bloody cold.
