If you're at a loose end, George Galloway will be at the Corran Halls Friday evening encouraging us to Just Say Naw.

We are heading up Friday evening.
Plan A is to set off Saturday and head North and a bit West same as it's been all year.
Plan B is to head to Drumbuie to meet up with a YBWer, but that has been put forward to Monday from Sunday so it may be best to say hi to him in Ardfern.
Sunday looks nice, the rest of next week looked wet-wet-wet on the forecast I saw last night.
We'll wave if we see you going the other way.
Seminole.
Cheers Bob.

Looking like light easterlies with an annoying bit of north in it for Sunday/Monday. Not too much wind but it looks like 'visibility pooerr in drizzle' .

Keep an eye out for Saboo. She's off bound for St Kilda via Barra Head then down round MoK to the Clyde on Sunday as a qualifier for the AZAB. Leaving Croabh tonight. Not with me aboard thankfully - I'm first reserve....

Was heading NW but there is now a gale warning for the hemhoroids and Ah'm a big feartie.

Er, are you sure about that? My tide tables are aboard, but the RYA site gives for Fri 22/8/14 HW Oban 0406, 1559 GMT which by my rough rule of thumb "turns N 4h after, turns S 2hr before" would give a N flowing tide from 0900 to 1500 BST.

Things would need to be pretty grim if the best available option was listening to Gorgeous George. :shake:

When I sailed past Ardfern earlier on this fine evening I spied what looked like a Claymore alongside the visitors pontoon in Ardfern.

Himself was probably propping up the bar in the Galley.

I'm thinking if heading off south ramorra or possibly Saturday. There is rumours of a meet up in the flesh pots of Jura with some folk frae Tayvalich

Silkie will probably leave Dallens Bay heading south on Saturday morning and is extremely unlikely to catch up with boats heading south from Craobh or Ardfern. :)
