Hi everybody
Thought I should introduce myself. I keep my wee Hurley 20 in the Gareloch. Not had a chance to get a decent sail as yet due to work and a recent health issue. Hope to get out soon before the bad weather creeps in.

Cheers

Welcome.

There's plenty time left yet for a good sail or three!

It's a fine enough day here in Oban after a ridiculously early start and the rest of the week looks reasonable.

Passed Cherry Ripe in the Sound of Kerrera- clocked his Blue Moment Budgie - is there etiquette for meeting another Blue Momenter at sea? Should we dip budgies or just chuck half empty lager cans
to/ at each other??

I think that this was the last thread on the subject, but I would still ask anyway.

We do not keep lager in cans on our vessel, it would have to be IPA bottles which I think would be a bit too hostile. We had a very good run down to Craighouse on Tuesday, Fairy Isles last night, here in Craobh at the moment and back to Dallens Bay on Saturday. My co owner Mr Cameron has the boat next week and our new third partner the week after. The summer seems to have gone very quickly.

Probably not. Niall is a very experienced west coast sailor but always until now as a charterer. We are of a similar age and lived within a few streets of one another as teenagers. Small world.
