Pssst - Want to buy a Claymore?

Post by ash »

I see that the 'other' Claymore called Claymore is up for sales in Largs.

This isn't the Claymore owned by 'oor Claymore'

This one has 'sword' graphics.

Don't think her spinaker alternates between grey and green.

I think there is one parked next to Mum too.

I can't say much being a Centaur owner, it's only Vega owners we can look down on in the common as muck stakes.

You're not kidding. We were in Largs ladt night, and I found another 5 Vegas, as well as us.

There's one on the hard here at Ardrossan, but haven't strolled round the marina yet.

It's been too hot!! 28 C. At 22.00 hrs, the outside temp is still over 20 C.

Who needs Greece?

We've even had proper sea breezes.

Edit - Using my phone and can't get the cursor to point at 'ladt' - read it as 'last'

Unless you want to go swimming? In a dry suit, maybe, and not a wet suit.

The water was reported to be 22c at the Glasgow triathlon event which meant the girls were all in swim suits. Given Loch Lomond was 17c, it must be quite shallow/slow moving/on a white tariff/near a nuclear power station outlet to be so "warm". Could it really be 22C?

I assume that the swim was in the loch in Strathclyde Park. Don't know the volume, or water turnover but imagine that it might warm up nicely. I'm sure that they've had algae bloom there before.
