Is this scottish excrement weather a portent for a hot summer? I briefly heard a man on the radio saying the last time it was this scottish excrement in May we had a stonker of a summer. I missed the context of the article as it produced palpitations which nearly done me in. Then the asthma attack started but I got over that too.
So, was the man talking scottish excrement, was it a fictional radio play, or is there some truth in the matter? I am fed up, I have probably got a job in Siberia, seriously, August start. I wonder what their bed linen will be like.

Never mind the summer, the weather is going to be brilliant for the second half of May as Silkie sets off on her annual Fore Monsoon Cruise.

I did a job in Pechora once and stayed in a 'hotel' called 'The Blue Room'. I was attacked by the receptionist when I tried to check in. This was my bedlinen. It had wet stains and I had to get very drunk and sleep in my boiler suit.BlowingOldBoots wrote:I am fed up, I have probably got a job in Siberia, seriously, August start. The sanitary facilities had apparently been smashed to pieces by a lunatic with a slegehammer prior to someone backing a muck spreader up the corridor into said facilities and switching it on. There were fights in the corridor all night.
I was so keen to get out of town that I refused to get off this chopper even after being asked to because it was overloaded:

(I was the first one in - another sixteen or so people joined us along with some chickens. The yellow thing is the fuel tank.)
Have a nice trip to Siberia!

Oh dear this doesn't bode well. Still the mist is burning off today, so I am off for a day sail.
