Watched those clips and a few more on Yoo-choob.

They are braver men than me- no way wold I go across the north atlantic in any of them boats....mind you, none of this lot made it either.

That lot above in the vid-joes , most jacked it in the Azores. Except the one who got all the way over to the other side of Iceland then smacked himself up, turned around and sailed back home....

Which in itself is an epic achievement.

It was Greenland, not Iceland, which makes the achievement even greater. It wasn't quite clear to me from the clip whether his original intention was to eventually come out of the Davis Straights and head for the finish line. Whatever, it's a long time to spend inside a wee boat.

Iceland / Greenland / whatever , the man is still barking but a braver and better sailor than me. :sailing:
