A weekend forecast WILL be issued today!
The SWIS forecasts have proved really popular but only cover the Channel and Solent. Loads of you have sent me messages saying 'please forecast for my area'.
So, I have come up with the idea of SWIS Lite. These forecasts are essentially the same as the Solent and Channel forecasts, but they do not require such intense input from forecasters.

The forecasts now cover the UK and Ireland, and if you like them I can extend them into France, Spain, Portugal and the Mediterranean as well as the eastern Atlantic.
