SWIS on mobiles

Post by weatherman »

Good morning,

Thanks again for using the Sailing Weather Information Service (http://www.sailingweather.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) this weekend, it is certainly proving popular. Remember the forecasts are updated by 4.30pm, 7-days a a week. Today's forecast will include an outlook for the weekend so that you can begin planning now!

As part of the ongoing enhancements I have introduced a basic mobile page at http://www.weaherweb.net/pdasail.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to make downloading the forecasts a little easier when away from your desktop.

Our web developer (John) is working extremely hard to bring about a major upgrade to the site and details will be announced very soon.

With best wishes,
Simon

The PDF's from here are utterly brilliant. Love the "how confident are we" column. http://www.weatherweb.net/swsolent.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is going to be my first port of call for weather from now on. 10/10.

Thanks markie, pleased you like it. Are yo using mobile, desktop or both?

Tuesday: Just updated today's SWIS forecasts (http://www.sailingweather.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and put some detail into the weekend, which looks 'interesting' (ahem).

I have a horrible feeling we are heading into an early autumn. Will try to put something together for you about this.

Thanks again for all your SWIS feedback, please keep it coming.
