Had a bit of a chinwag on the old dog and bone with Dick the other day and although he was principally looking for some advice on selling more magazines he also felt the need to unburden himself about his relationship with Maurice and so I can categorically state the the recent allegation so shamefully promulgated on here by Claymore is naught but a scurrilous lie originated by the editorial staff of Sailing Today.
They were just good friends apparently.

Methinks he protesteth too much but let us cut to the chase here and get down to the nitty of the Dicks phone call.
So he is wanting your advice on selling more magazines? I can understand this as a prominent yotblogger, you are fair game for the Max Cliffords, Boris Johnsons, Lord Rothermeres of this world.
I hope that you discussed something along the IKEA principles as I do genuinely feel that buying YM is flatpack mode and then assembling it at home would add a fabulous dimension to the YM experience for readers and could go some way towards generating increased levels of stimulation. These are sadly lacking of one relies solely upon the text contained within.
Interestingly the readership of my rather disprespectful post regarding the sexual preferences of the wizard and the dick was quite high and I feel that should the dick care to contact me, I may well be able to increase the circulation of the publication by writing other equally disrespectful articles - all yachting related of course. Should this offer be accepted, please forward all details of contracts and payment to my factor Mr P.Handy for his perusal.

Shurely PBO would suit the flatpack/home completion route better?

Have PMed PH with a pointless proposal pertaining to the production of a part-work on the perverse proclivities of the great and good of the sailing world.

A perversion a week to cut out and keep, building into a succulent selection of salty salaciousness . . . sounds like a great idea, did he buy it?Have PMed PH with a pointless proposal pertaining to the production of a part-work on the perverse proclivities of the great and good of the sailing world.
