.
Just cycled back from the T&T in the midsummer dim after a very pleasant evening chatting and drinking with Silkie and Mr and Mrs Puddock, who are anchored in Puilladobhrain tonight.
What a week that was six years or so ago when we bought Fairwinds and moved into this house. The two best decisions we ever made.

Re: Midsummer
Oh? I thought the fact that the post specifically mentioned that we had just come back late from the pub might have given a teensy hint that drink had been taken, without any need for detailed linguistic analysis. The reflective nature of the post suggests it was done 'in drink'

Re: Midsummer
To say nothing of the fact it was posted at midnight.
A fine night indeed and a pleasure to meet the Puddocks who are just starting out on the cruising life. Everything is a wonder and a delight to them and I found their joy highly infectious. The chilli was pretty good too - thanks guys. Mr P is a dab hand wi' a pun' o' mince should you ever find yourself anchored in the vicinity of Rosally.
Mrs P collects a wee souvenir of her visit to Puilladobhrain.

Re: Midsummer
We arrived home about 7pm tonight, feeling thoroughly satisfied with a very pleasant weekend and the chance to meet up with Nick, Kathy and Dave (Silkies Dad as Mrs Puddock refers to you) - you didn't waste much time getting the pic up Dave!
Thanks again guys for a great time.
