Moon Moon Moon - gently turn the tides

Post by Silkie »

or Moon, Turn the Tides ... Gently Gently Away, if you prefer.

The vid is just a bit of fun but it was great being on a cruise longer than a weekend with the weather fair for most of the time. Seeing the moon rise later and fuller each day with high tide also later and higher has given me a feel for moon and tides which I didn't have before, despite having had a theoretical knowledge of how it all works.

Good stuff Dave, where did you get to on your cruise then, glad to hear you had some decent weather.

All this being away on a small boat on your own seems to be bringing out the feminine side of your character. Is this simply a sign of the times, or a post-modernist paradigm for sailing in the west?

Maybe you got in touch with your feminine side whilst cruising by drinking loads of beer?
