These brackets are just plastic elbows, about 30mm deep by 45mm with 2 screw holes to attach underneath the loo seat. I got mine from the local Kleeneze lady; other suppliers may exist.

If you have ever bust the hinges on the loo seat in heavy weather (no sniggering at the back) then you might be delighted by my recent discovery

I don't think the logical extension of the principle has been patented.
The seat is now secure - but we need to secure the airse to the seat - so another set of similar locating dogs pointing upwards screwed to the top of the seat are required for that feeling of complete "on the throne" security.

Mike, hope you are feeling better now, You should try superglue, permenant, cheap, readily available, guaranteed non slip, just dont be in a hurry to leave the pan.
