Glesca pint or 3?
Will be in Glasgow on 22/23rd Sept if anyone fancies a pint or whatever, also on the 30th. Troon on the Sunday 24th for a weeks sailing with Second Wind. Then over to the US on 3rd October to finalise our new/old boat which is lying in Mississippi.

Ok, I guess what I will do is update this on the Thursday prior and see what happens, but we will be there on the following Saturday(30th) too.

never mind
well plans pretty much changed. In Glasgow tonight(23rd) and off to Troon tomorrow and sailing from Troon on Monday for a week. So if you are out next week and see 'Chewsy', give us a wave. Will be bqack in Glasgow the following Friday and back to Norfolk on the Saturday. Good news is that the house has sold and the boat has been bought, so off to Mississippi on the 4th, and we are out of here.

Re: never mind
Congratulations with the house. 'Fraid I won't be around next Saturday - returning from a work event, then hopefully going north to start bringing the boat back to Ayrshire.
It was a Hardin 45, wasn't it? They look great boats, very spacious. Good luck with her!

Yep, a Hardin 45 it is. Got the survey results back and no real problems there, so it's full steam ahead.
On the sailing front, completed Dazed Kipper today(Friday) Strange weather all week. Seems the group that own the White Hart in Campbeltown have gone bust and some work coming up in the harbour there too. As for Rothesay. All the berths on the eastern side were closed, as they are fitting new electrics to the pontoons, and the western side was full, so had to pick up a buoy instead.
Anyway, had a fairly good week, despite the weather. Saw plenty of seals, quite a few porpoises, 1 Minke whale, and 2 Basking Sharks, one of which was huge, and followed the boat for a spell.

Hardin 45 - should I be worried?
Mme Shard has started spending time time looking at Hardin Voyagers, 44s, and 45s, on the internet. She's started coming over all funny when she looks at them.
My questions are;
My questions are;
- Are they as good as they look?
Shouldn't she be getting on with her work instead of wasting time on the internet, like, errmm, what I do?

Mmm. Should have put in a bid - the advert was showing "only" $70,000 until today - now corrected to £70,000 I'm afraid.....
