Hackers Hypothesis

Post by claymore »

Just say you had a daughter and one day after she'd been using your computer you found that a few settings had changed and you started to receive a few popups.
Would you immediately think that one of your favourite websites had been hacked - and if you did think that, what would you think of your general state in terms of being open to conspiracy theories?
I only ask as I've been bombarded recently with private messages all written in a state of high anxiety and I really need some advice before I offer this friend advice and guidance.
Regards
Claymore

I'd console your friend and offer to buy him some beer. Being a father of teenage daughters is stressful, as I know and your friend has my sympathy.
