FFS that's no way to treat a Sligo man.

Infact maybe you should have a look at your location before judging.

And what's with the full size cockpit awning if one isent effected by a bit of cold and wet?

Are we talking Westlife here? Bet they've all got Eberspachers.
And that's not a cockpit awning. I'm growing iceberg lettuce in there.

Ebers may be for folk who have a well sorted power regime.
We have relied on good sleeping bags up to now, and leaving the washboards out to keep the condensation down.
I have just purchased a Tilley lamp, 0 amp hours and they kick out 2 Kw reportedly. If it doesn't do the business it can go back on Ebay.

Don't bother with Ebay. If you don't want it, I'll have it.aquaplane wrote:.

LJS is right. Ebers are for wimps who can't even fart, so they get a machine to do it for them.
Really, both you boys should have been at evensong instead of frittering away your Sunday evening with the devil's frivolities.

Rowana, they are £110 new, they seem to go on Ebay for £40 ± 5, plus postage of about £10.
I won one for £35 and it's within 50 miles of home so I'm going to pick it up, if the vendor will let me have his address. If he won't he can keep it, I'll just wait for another near one that I can pay cash for.

I'd be interested if anyone can tell me where you get the mantles from.
I have to modify the only ones I could find (in Largs) to suit.
I doubt you'll get 2Kw, but they are bright, noisy and warm-ish.

Re: Eberspachers - lets have a heating debate
There are quite a few mantles on ebay too, the url is long but if you search on this:
5x GENUINE TILLEY LAMP MANTLE MANTLES 164H STORMLIGHT
they come up for £8 +£1 P&P on buy it now.
I don't know how much difference there is between mantles, the lamp I got is a 246 and they fit that one.
