We were goose-winging north from Shuna to Seil Sound recently (Torsa abeam) when we met a very shiny Bav42 tacking south. It looked as if they would pass fairly close in front of our bows.
It probably wasn’t necessary but we gave a little curtsy to port anyway just to let them know we were paying attention. As they passed, all four crew were standing in the cockpit looking over at us. I was doing a quick mental check to make sure I'd remembered to dress that morning when her skipper (I presume) called over “Lovely boat!â€
