Doesn't time just fly by........

Post by ash »

....... when you're having fun.

It seems like yesterday that we were celebrating Silkie's Kilo Post, and here he is galloping towards the double.

This was my first find, the preamble,

Some of the relative newcomers are fair roaring up the list too.

I fear that my fifth place won't last for much longer........

BTW, I thought that I would provide a link to Silkie's Kilo, but I haven't found it yet. 60 minutes and counting to get in my edit.

Edit - Found it

Edit of the edit - I haven't (found it)

Edit #3 - I have now found it - I needed to search 'posts' rather than 'topics' - The fact that hiself titled it 'Brilliant' didn't help - mind you twas (brilliant)

I'm rambling - time for bed

Another late bedder.

Do you get a steak as a prize? Fillet, Ribeye, Sirloin? What's the big blimey that you get with the wee bone in the middle?

Teebone.

In the 1970's, SWMBO and I used to go to the Buttery and order their Teebone steaks. The staff could never believe that she would eat her way through it - she was (still is) a slim 5' 4". Not sure that either of us would manage one now ( or manage to pay for it )

Ash - Drifting threads since yesterday

BTW - my link above is wrong - it's in the ball park - but no cigar - I searched for my own posts - there are just too many of Silkie's - not sure why I wouldn't have posted on Silkie's actual Kilo Post - maybe we all left it virginal - I'm sure himself will find it.

It all looks pretty neck and neck around the double figures mark. There is a big jump from about 200 to about 300 posts.

I'm suprised to see meself so high up, I feel fairly new and don't feel to know folk so well. Happen I should get me finger out and get up to one of the cruises.
Seminole.
Cheers Bob.

Congratulations to Bluemoment

The total post count shows a steeper rise I think. It took until February 2006 to reach 1000 while 2000 came up in August 2006. I missed the 10,000th but it was earlier this year and now we're at 11,270.
