Does any one else get annoyed by the contant silly use of the VHF, why do they feel the need to be constantly asking for a radio check. Or asking friends to come for pre breakfast capachinos int middle o't inshore forecast.
I have to confess that I have never given the coast guard details of my passages, I don't entirely see the worth in it,never heard the coast guard looking for someone that didn't teel um they had arrived, in any event I am always changing my mind mid passage about where I'm going.

We can't change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails.

Agree, I've been over 15 hours overdue twice. Nothing happened. Never told 'em after that.Daveanmucker wrote:never heard the coast guard looking for someone that didn't teel um they had arrived
