Reports of my loss at sea

Post by Silkie »

have been greatly exaggerated.

Just got back to Dunstaffnage tonight. Never really went anywhere but sailed every day. Forecasts were the most correct and consistent ever; F4/5 increasing (occasionally/ for a time/ later/ in the north etc.) F6, fair, moderate or good, slight or moderate.

Anchoring under sail in Puilladobhrain in 20 knots was a highlight. Silkie does 2.5 knots under bare poles it would seem.

I'd planned to have a day boat-fixing tomorrow but N&K are apparently coming for a sail. Excellent!

Currently tying one on with Merrry Monster. Pics to follow, maybe.
