The Marina Skip is open!

Post by Arghiro »

I have just set up a yahoo group called Marina Skip. It is based on the Freecycle concept of giving stuff away rather that chucking it out. all that rubbish in your bilges that you will never use but don't want to chuck away. Pop it in the virtual Marina Skip, someone will find it useful & collect it from you or pay P&P for it to be sent.

This is not for expensive stuff - there are lots of auction sites for that.

Check this out; you will need a Yahoo ID to join.

Well done! Excellent idea.

I suspect that I won't be allowed to join this group in case I end up with more old bits of rope. I'm also a great collector of shackles various, and a miscellany of old bits of rubber tubing that were part of the cooling system of an engine that we no longer have.

You never know when they might come in handy.
