Sailing in Turquoise Waters

Post by Pina44 »

Hi everyone,

We are planning to go to Turkey this summer. We heard about world class marinas of Bodrum and Gocek.

www.turquoisesail.blogspot.com has very nice pictures and info.

Has anybody sailed at these beautiful waters?

Thanks

Always disappointing when someone puts up their first post and no-one responds, so Welcome.

The answer is yes - we've all sailed in turquoise waters especially those off the coast of Argyll. There's plenty of information about turkey and most yachting comics run fairly regular features of some turkish trip - perhaps that might be a good place to look?

For a first post it could be mistaken for an advertisement couldn't it?

Wow, what a fantastic place and what great photographs. Never been there, but would love to go. I wonder if anyone can recommend a good charter deal? I hear Sunsail have very good offers.
