Snap! (Although I think you'll find she's already left the North Channel.)

We were probably quite near you about that time, getting ready to anchor around the other side of Lismore.Ocklepoint wrote:Suspect you're right about the time, but I'm afraid it was Saturday.
Spent most of Saturday re-soldering the VHF aerial fitting while on bumpy mooring (arrrgghhh), and re-wiring the wind indicator, which is going a bit temperamental, and a few other fiddly little jobs. So it was a late sail for us. Had to motor most of the way back today - breeze only picked up about two miles from our mooring.

At least you've got a wind indicator.
I had my standing rigging renewed over the winter when the boat was at the MRC.
It wasn't until I was half way down the Lynn of Lis that I realised the wind thing was missing. Sloppy work or what?
Saturday afternoon was odd weather wise I thought; pretty calm most of the way up from Dunstaff. and calm in Loch Creran, but it got suddenly ferocious just as I was approaching the outlying island of the Shian narrrows, and just as I was getting into the tide.
5.2 kts in the Lynn, 3.7kts in the narrows
