My Book's Published on Friday!

Post by weatherman »

Hi all,

I am delighted to announce that my first book, 'The Sailors Book of the Weather' (http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle ... ption.html) is going to be published by Wiley on Friday.

The book is for novices and experienced sailors alike and covers everything from why and how high and low pressure form, to D.I.Y. forecasting.

You can order a copy now, and read more about it by clicking above . I hope you like it!

Best wishes,
Simon

.
I was distracted while posting . . . .

Now the pic links straight to the book - and we receive 5% of any sales, which is why you should all use a link (on almost all the BlueMoment directory pages) to click through to Amazon whenever you are purchasing from them. It is our most successful affiliate program by far, making up to £50 a month sometimes. Not a fortune, but it doesn;t cost you anything and it helps keep this site going.

(On the other hand we don't get anything if you click on BigNick's link :( )

Had a look at the sales blurb, and looks like it will fill the gap between the very basic, and, the specialist tomes designed designed for the circumnavigators.

Good luck with the book - my copy's now ordered.

It's arrived!

Simon,

my copy was on the door mat when I got home yesterday evening.

I had planned to go out for a few beers in the evening, but then I found the parcel, opened it up, flicked through the book ...... and went out for a few beers anyway. :)

It does look very good though - plain english always helps, and clear, simple, practical illustrations.

I am sure I will make good use of it, both for myself and helping others to understand the weather too.

Best of luck !!
