Reading material

Post by TFATC »

Just finished "To the Baltic with Bob" by Griff Rhys Jones. Not bad. What other nautical type books do you lot recommend? What should I search for on the bay of e being a cheapskate?
I am going to retire when I am fat and rich - AND I am half way there!

I cannot recommend this too highly:

'Up That Particular Creek'

by Val Howells.

(Link leads to BlueMoment revue, which in turn has a link to Val's website where you can buy the book online)

Read that too just a month or so ago and enjoyed it. Better than I expected.

On the subject of books . . .

I don't get any commission from Val, but I guarantee you will enjoy the book.

If you are ever buying a book from Amazon though please click through from any of the many Amazon links on this site - it means we get a small percentage of the sale, which helps support BlueMoment.

And while we are on the subject - did you know that Amazon is often the cheapest place to buy loads of other goodies, particularly electronics like computer bits and digital cameras.
