..It's off to work we go. Need to get the hull as smooth as possible (not to mention the rudder) if Silkie is to keep up with the big girls on the CC.

I was supposed to be there today but a wee matter of an Ofsted Inspection at the Dream Factorystarting on Monday has put the bolloxes on that. Will be up for the weekend of April First.....do on then, say it.

Weather gods were kind after all. I only spent slightly too much time boozing and can now actually see her being ready to launch in a fortnight.

I've never thought to ask if have any of his other sea-going books. I've read The Golden Ocean but not The Unknown Shore.
