handheld plotters/ GPS

Post by JohnBuch »

Just lost my Garmin etrex summit somewhere on the side of Ben More Coigach! Any recommendations for a good, reasonably price, handheld plotter to replace it?

Quite like the idea of one I can use on the boat, hillwalking and in the car - but suspect this involves too many compromises.

Let me know,

John

Haven't got any advice to offer I'm afraid but I hate to see a sensible question go unanswered.

I'd love a wee plotter myself but it's not in (or likely to approach) the actionable part of the wish list. However, this forum is hoaching with plotter owners who travel by land and sea. I'm sure someone who can advise will be along shortly.

I wouldn't count on it - boaty posts are getting very thin on the ground around here . . .
