Forth Hovercraft service?

Post by Telo »

Hmmm. Plans for a possible hovercraft service along the Forth between Alloa and Kirkcaldy are being developed, with talk of it possibly being extended to Stirling.

Nah, them things only run when it's calm. SRN1, Wallasey to Rhyl in the 60's hardly ever managed to maintain a scheduled service!

Forth hovercraft?

Post by DaveS »

Given that the railway from Stirling through Alloa to Longannet has just about been reinstated (over time & budget), I would have thought a train would have made more sense.
