What to do with a retired inflatable?

Post by cpedw »

This season, our 9 year old 3d tender round tail 235 started to lose pressure. While trying to find the leak, it lost a fitting that holds one of the side ropes on. That has been reglued. Subsequently, the leak was fixed using Inflatable Sealant but by then, it had been replaced.

Does anyone in the Oban area want to take over this venerable vessel? It probably has a year or two of service in it still. Some of the fittings are starting to look loke they might come off but the rowlocks and OB bracket fittings still look sound.

The answer is to post it on the dreaded Facebook, Things for sale in Oban. Gone in a trice!
