Ronnie Faux's 1982 classic seems to be doing well these days, with the usual internet second hand starting price for around £10 to £15.

A marvellous book, very witty, I bought it before I'd ever sailed; perhaps it had an effect.

there is one for sale in the charity book shop in byres road for 6.99 - that is where i got my copy last year as well - a good book, wish there were more like it
