Is this forum for Scots only?

There seems to be a lot from up north on here. Is it a co-incidence, or are you cruising mates? Makes a change from Solent dominated fora tho'.

Or have I got it all wrong? Any one out there cruise the N. Wales coast?

There is a high proportion of Scots and honorary Scots and many of us have met and cruised in company but we welcome all, as long as they play nicely, even the English. :)

No.

I would hope that all were welcome in this place.
I've never sailed in your part of the world but I hear it has its' attractions.
I did South Wales last year, Cardiff, Milford Haven and onwards
Very friendly natives, strong tides and good beer

Cheers

second left, front row needs to moisten a reed I think.

Arghiro, watch out, all this pleasantness could be part of a grooming process where we invite unsuspecting foreigners to lonely places.
"Want to come for a run in my boat sonny, and try this bottle?"
April 25th springs to mind. (Nick, do your guardians know what you're doing?)

Thank ye all kindly. I will think on ye a wee while the morrow nicht wi' ma taties, puddin & neeps - aye & a wee dram o' wan o' ma malt collection. Perhaps a good strong Lagavulin, or a honeyed Balvennie - it will all depend on the strength o' ra Haggis.

I have enjoyed a potter around the Clyde & North to Loch Etive, plus a wee daunder around Rhum, Sleat & Plockton in my time. We know not to kill a midge; for a thousand pals will come for his funeral. I have had freshwater pearls out of the River Laxford too, so I am no a stranger to your bonny, but dreich, country.

Actually, I'm a scouser - so it goes.

If it's a square go you're after, we'd better move to scufflebut. This place is too nice to spoil.
