Lucy’s Ardfern

Post by wully »

I If you are still afloat then you really need to sample the food...mmmmmmm

We are so spoiled having Lucy’s here and the Lord of the Isles over the hill.

“New” boatie awaiting new prop and 75% of new rigging before floating again then sailing round to Groovee Craobhee for the remaining 25%. (It will be sailing ‘Cos the engine may, or may not be working...) So plenty of opportunity to ballast up here before heading round the corner to dent the LOTI’s stock of Belhaven Black and larder contents.

Will this be the winter I keep sailing?

Or will I wuss out until I fit the (Planer) heater?

And when will I update my avatar?

Planning on being at the boat this Sunday if you are about, cup of tea and biscuit, suitable distance maintained and outside.

I might well be over to the Dark Side to collect my new rigging so will wander down to see if you’ve got the kettle on if I do.

Sorry Wully, if you wandered over. Unfortunately I got stuck with car full of rubbish on Saturday night as the local civil refuse site that closed at 16:00 had locked the gates at 15:45, with the operators driving away. Hence I had to go on Sunday. I'll text next time I am going, maybe Thursday.

My new cooker is getting its gas safe test on Thursday so if that goes OK I might toddle over

Just back from Tenerife, Helix Q7000 Well Intervention Vessel; now quarantining for 14 days. I'll definitely be at the boat 6 or 7 or 8 November. I'll text.

Hope your boat work all goes well and easy without any unexpected complications.

I loved working on Well Intervention boats!

Boat due to launch Wednesday then sail her round to Grovee Craobhee to complete the rigging so might well be there but the time you’re plagued free..
