What about this weather then?

Have you ever seen so much north wind in the sailing season. Even our esteemed yacht/webmaster has had to modify his summer cruise in the face of entrenched northerlies.

It's not natural I tell you!

Some days North is OK . . .

Scorched down the Minch to Rodel from Aultbea on Saturday - eight and a hallf hours for 48 nautical miles, not too bad for a wee boat.

In Lochmaddy just now - the first T-shirt day in four weeks, but strong winds and rain forecast for tonight / tomorrow. Southerlies though . . . going West, so shold be able to make it down to Barra by the weekend, then I suppose we might have to start to think about coming home . . .

.. but when can we expect some more blog entries?

Sounds like a good sail on Saturday although the T-shirt was surely foolhardy - just asking for trouble in my opinion. Happy sailing.
