What's the difference? Is a PM in the outbox waiting to be sent? If so, how do you send it? Have you received a PM from me Nick? It all seemed to work OK last time I used the PM facility.

Got your PM and have replied . . . the problem for me is there was an obsolete e-mail address in my profile, so I wasn't getting notifications. Should work now.
PMs stay in your outbox until they are read by by the recipient, at which point they move into the sentbox.
