Fairwinds Circumnavigation of Ireland

Post by Silkie »

Nick.

I've read this before but must have navigated from the main menu. Started to re-read it tonight and have found an "undocumented feature".

If you start from here from the main page, you can only get as far as the Glenarm-Bangor page where the Bangor-Ardglass link returns you to Glenarm-Bangor and the other links are HTTP404

That page http://www.bluemoment.com/ireland/leaving.html
is an orphan that shouldn't be on the server . . . there are no links to it, so how on earth did you find it??

Similarly the glenarm.html and bangor.html pages are orphans - part of the original file naming scheme that was scrapped early on in the project.

I've deleted the orphans now - but please let me know if there are any more strange links lurking.

It's still the here below

Fairwinds is an Albin Vega, a 31 year old 27ft sailing yacht based in Balvicar, near Oban. This is the log of her circumnavigation of Ireland in the Summer of 2004, crewed by Nick & Kathy Bowles.

You can use the text links below to navigate the site or click the hotspots on the map for more information and links. If you start at the beginning here you can also follow the log sequentially. Most photographs can be clicked on to show an enlargement.

but now it doesn't go anywhere.
