There is a yacht Lisa (MMSI 235092903) meandering up Loch Long, seems to have come from Dun Laoghaire. I hope Duncan Macpherson, if it is indeed he, is enjoying himself! Me, I'm deep in withdrawal symptoms to the extent I've been using a mashie to chip balls around the back green.

I know what you mean about envy! I usually keep my boat launched for 2 to 3 years, then lift out for a underwater work and back in again. Last year was the 10 year survey so went round to Silvers for some work and now stuck ashore. Mind you, even it was in the water, I would be stuck at home. Only consolation is that she is ready to launch.

I can see the mast out my bedroom window but she might as well still be onshore as I can’t even take here round to her mooring..

That would drive me crazy. Today I feel particularly glum and would have really liked a weekend sail.

I’m going to wander down there next week and crack on with the jobs list as we will have run out of house job work list materials..

Looking forward to bending on the sails. Then not going anywhere.
