Opening The Side Flap On A Rotary Lawnmower

Don't when it is running. In mulching mode, with mower running, I opening the side door to removed a small stick. Small sticks ejected at high speed hurt a lot one they strike ones finger tips.

Wood chippers have much the same effect on fingers if you try to push a reluctant stick in by hand....
