The mystery of the invisible politician

Post by Bodach na mara »

The solution to the problem of Boris Johnson not agreeing to be interviewed by Andrew Neill has just occurred to me.

The BBC could follow the lead of "Have I got news for you" where Roy Hattersley was replaced by a tub of lard. As Boris is a bag of hot air, if he didn't turn up, Andrew Neill could interview a balloon lying on a chair. Same effect as if Boris were really there really.
Any cartoonists reading this can feel free to illustrate it!

(I may post this in TOP as well to wind up the twats who read the Lounge.)

Are you not worried that a bag of hot air might be deleted by over zealous moderators keen to stamp out global warming?

C4 already did this with a block of ice. But got dragged through the courts. Anyway, it seems to no longer matter what a politician says or does, if he seems like a good laugh, he gets votes. We have become Italy. Without the food, wine or weather.
