Store No Way coastguard dalek
Store No Way coastguard dalek
Probably last sail of the season today - spoiled by the MSI announcement from Stornoway. Even Stephen Hawking had a less unpleasant timbre. Since the message is just to listen on channel x for the Stornoway weather forecast, couldn't they record a real voice rather than use a poor computer synthesised one?
It was specially galling to hear Belfast (can't always hear them in the north of the Firth of Lorn) still have a real person. It's sad to have lost the lady that Claymore (and I) have swooned over in the past.

Having met, conversed, and taken drink with the voice of Stornoway radio I take grave exception to your attitudes towards such a charming young lady. I do have a photograph to remember our meeting but have no intention of publishing it to satisfy your appetites.

Sir, that comment is unworthy of you! I'm sure, if she had any idea who you were or your interest in her, she would be greatly relieved by your change of focus and would offer Ms Adler her deepest sympathies.

I would have thought your fascination with Mrs Laurence would have been enough for you.

Re: Store No Way coastguard dalek
I accidentally heard the Stornoway robot yesterday - between Bute and Arran. Quite a surprise . Weird to hear Stornoway in the Clyde. Maybe the high pressure is to blame? I think the Belfast lassies sound much better than the robot. Lets hope they don't get the chop as well....
