Parking Tip
When approaching your berth, and have just used reverse to stop the boat, don't be overenthusiastic when selecting neutral. It is easy to over shoot and drop it into forward so by the time you have stepped ashore the boat is doing what seems to be about 20 knots and getting the stern line on quickly has gone from a nice to have to a need it now. I would imagine

When reverse parking a wheel-steered boat and standing the 'wrong' side of the wheel, remember when operating the throttle that forwards and astern are reversed.
