Race entry is now open for that iconic tour round the west coast in May. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it is a wee cruise that mixes sailing and running, usually 3 sailors and 2 runners per boat, that starts in Oban and ends in Troon having sent the runners over Ben More (the Mull yin), the Paps of Jura and Goatfell.
One of this forum's denizens, to whom many of us have much reason to be grateful (so definitely not me!), is looking for sailors and runners to join him, but you will need to get off quick at Troon. unless Rockall is on your bucket list.
