Old money (not for rope)
Had a lovely day of wall-to-wall sunshine on the boat yesterday. Pressure washed the decks - almost as dirty as she was at Port Edgar and went for a motor on the glassy firth and swung my compass. (That was just to make the work-bound jealous.) The point of this post is that I inadvertently found my horde of shower and laundry tokens, or £1 coins as they are known by my wife, and, of course, they were mostly of the redundant circular variety. I suspect there are quite a few of you who have a similar horde.

Also had a lovely day yesterday not doing much. Spent a pleasant hour or so at the Waterfront in Greenock for a swim. Old round pounds came in handy for the lockers as Inverclyde Council have not been updated with the knowledge that the coinage has changed.
