Oh dear. It can be a bit trying stuck in port. Your boat is a big one and well up to an exciting sail.

We had a decent trip down to Portland today in the sunny, choppy, clapotis, lumpy horribleness but we're running out of time and forecast so not sure how much farther we'll get this time

Only 1 French and 2 English 'pan-pans' today...the CG down here has the patience of a saint.

( 1 mobo with a duff engine in Poole entrance and a Janneau 34 parked on Hurst spit on the ebb. My French isn't good enough to figure out what happened to the one matelot onboard 'Crap Dime' or maybe Carp Diem? )

We're out of time..

Boat being delivered home

Cost/ benefit with Marina fees, travel, work, time made sense.

Now when I've got time I can just get on the boat at the bottom of the road and sail instead of trying to get to the other end of the country first.

We've enjoyed our winter live aboard time and the short sails we got
