I am really looking forward to this one . . . they've named the boat before they have even got it . . .

Serious dreamers, let's hope they make it.

Good to see a surge in new sign-ups and actually posting stuff too! Not to mention that weel-kent old sign-up Claymore.

Thanks Nick, Bejasus will indeed be the name of the boat once secured, hopefully in the next 3 months. (all will be revealed at the naming). It is a bit of a scary prospect, selling up and going for it, but what the hell. You only live once.
Personally, SWMBO will probably kill Jimi if she ever gets her hands on the wee bauchle. A task which I am sure Bev would probably pay handsomely.
Getting her all primed up for it though. She doesn't know it yet, but she has a VHF course in February, and a West Systems Epoxy course in March, and I am looking for a diesel engine maintenance course for her when she has a spare minute. 8)
I see there are quite a few YBW'ers here too. Have to say, I enjoyed tcm's account of holidaying in French Polynesia. Written in Matts typical hand.

Anyhow, back with more soon I am sure.
