Good reasons for Nick not doing a transat required

Post by tcm »

Well, he said on the other board he'd rather sail weith me than someone else so that's a start. Also, we have already had several e-scraps and made up, which is also a Good Sign, i reckon, sort of. So, i wonder what pathetic reason he can think up for not geting on a plane on or around 14th may bound for carib ready for return trip via Azores to Poach'Gul?

Oh, and Nick is specially good crew person cos i have heard him for hours in Biscay makig radio calls to ships "... we're a SMALL yacht ...." (he always sez SMALL yacht, never just "yacht")

Mostly abject poverty, plus I am running a Dazed Kipper course in the Utter Hebrides mid-June and can't risk not being back for it.

I would be delighted to be shortlisted for future trips though, and would bring my own hobnobs . . .

P'rhaps a dearth of in-date brownie points...?
