Help . . .

Post by Nick »

.
I have a serious Lounge habit and it is very bad for me. Can any of you offer any advice?

( So far today I have been told that my car is silly and poxy, that I am a dipshit, a moron, a gripper, Zanulabour, a complete and utter twat, a tosser and a member of 'a small but noisy minority whose poisonous views are unrepresentative of the majority of the population' )

Gonae no dae that! I hadn't been in there for weeks 'til you started this thread. And another thing, weren't you recently upbraiding the rest of us for discussing the other place's trolls and here it turns out you are one, and discussing it here too.

It's another case of don't do as I do, do as I say. :?

You missed the 'signing on' thread then?

Sure you could have contributed a valuable Swedish perspective . . .

I did indeed miss the signing on thread although "miss" seems to imply missing out whereas I simply didn't see it. I just find the lounge irritating these days and if I wanted to be irritated I think I would rather rub chilli juice into my eyes.

well... you will be so darned subversive won't you?... eh?... eh?

Crazy looney, liberal, wooley, tree shagging nutter... thats what you are... eh?

There. Thought i'd add a few more insults to the list.... it just makes me feel great that it s not me they're picking on today... :D

Now can we get back to discussing boats on here eh?

I'm slowly weaning myself off the Lounge.... its corrosive.... but i'm not sure I like Silkie's Chilli sauce suggestion much.... :cry

It is incredibly irritating - but there are some souls who may not be hopelessly lost. I feel obliged to show them that not all yachties are rambling fascists with intellectual pretensions but no equipment.

Must get a life . . .

I did, but then deleted it, I can no longer be arsed with the right-wing arm of the BNP. I broke my silence replying to a post on PBO and afterwards felt I needed a shower.

I stopped using the lounge when my ignore list hit 10, this I saw as a line in the sand that indicated I do not belong in there with all that hate. I think many are glad to see the back of me, they can spew bile with impunity now.

The more people I meet, the more I like my dog.

Don't get too carried away
Must admit I posted in defence of your thinking because the level of abuse seems to have got worse lately, and as per our exchange of PM's, if the arguments against your point had been made in a more civilised and mature way they would have made more sense, but not the 'it's not fair to deprive me of my mobo' argument. That's pathetic.
But as others have said, can't we keep TOP out of here ?.
I'm weaning and it doesn't help :D .

Serious public note to Julian.
Please accept my public apology for all and any offence caused over there, mostly caused by misunderstandings, some caused by deliberate wind up posts. All of which I apologise for, hopefully this is a more civilised forum and I hope it stays that way, but apologies for past antics.
Let's leave the past where it belongs eh ? in the past ?

Now then, anyone want to see my mucky mobo ?
